What is Business Essentials?
M&DH Insurance Services Ltd have handpicked a selection of additional covers to create one bespoke package. Cover includes Directors and Officers Liability, Business Emergency, Commercial Legal Expenses, Legal Document Liability and Health and Safety Consultancy.
Directors and Officers cover:
Cover for legal costs, awards and settlements of a claims or regulatory action brought against any past, present or future director, trustee, officer or employee. Includes legal costs of representing them at an official investigation.
Business Emergency:
Cover that responds to unforeseen emergencies at your premises. 24 hour emergency call to cover against heating system breakdown, plumbing and drainage problems, problems with windows, locks, keys, sole customer toilet breakdown, vermin infestation and premises access restrictions due to fallen trees or fly-tipping and allows for unlimited claims in the policy year and no policy excess – maximum paid per claim is £500.
Commercial Legal Expenses:
Covers the legal costs to assist with the following; Employment, Tax, Property, Compliance & Regulation, 24-hour legal helpline and includes a Tax helpline.
Legal Document Library:
A web-enabled facility that provides online legal documents including Employment Contracts, Debt-Recovery letters, Terms of Business agreements and the like, that can be tailored to your needs – potentially saving costly legal bills.
Health & Safety Consultancy:
Includes a voucher for £250 for an online resource providing assistance with day-to-day management of your business. It provides an essential risk management tool which allows you to store all your documents off site in a ‘cloud based’ system. This is essential cover following the recent changes implemented by the HSE and “Fee for intervention” This service also includes a live “Ask the expert” chat/email facility to answer your specific questions.
