M&DH successfully funded the acquisition of a derelict old school and successfully project managed its refurbishment and development into a community centre for all the local residents and children. The centre opened in October 2008 and consists of a library, conference hall, toilets, offices and some living accommodation.

A number of M&DH staff helped with various works and decoration of this project during our 4 visits to the centre and was named The Judith Hames Centre.
