The Paviour Doctor & M&DH Insurance Services Ltd have celebrated their 9th year of their annual charity golf day at Pavenham Golf Club on the 26th September 2014. We are pleased to announce to date we have managed to raise over £80,000. The monies raised go to a deserving charity which is St. Johns Hospice, Moggerhanger, part of the Sue Ryder Care charity. As a local hospice the community is very aware of the fantastic work they do in making very poorly people extremely comfortable at a time when it is needed most.

The day consisted of local companies and teams from afar to all enjoy the sunny weather around the golf course at Pavenham with fully lined stomachs of tea and coffee and bacon butty’s! In the evening everyone was changed and looking very glamorous for the exciting Gala Dinner ahead. All the guests were treated to a three course dinner followed by bingo, an auction and top entertainment. This year we were pleased to announce the celebrity speaker as Alistair McGowan! Which was well received by all the guests as a very funny act and the perfect touch to a well organised event. Guests then danced the night away to our favourite band Kingtasic.

M&DH Insurance was especially proud when our own team won the golf day overall!

As you may be aware the whole thinking behind the charity day is that no service should cost us a penny and so we rely heavily on local businesses to donate what they can, making sure the evening costs as little as possible, ensuring as much revenue as possible goes to the right place – the charity.
